Dazu muss man natürlich erst mit dem Schiff über den Königssee fahren bis zur Saletalm, und sich dann auf den Weg um den Obersee machen.

Der Röthbach stürzt südlich des Obersees unterhalb der Röth über die Röthwand in zwei Hauptstufen beinahe senkrecht nach unten. Die Höhe wird im Allgemeinen mit ca. 470 Meter angegeben und bezieht.

We walk past it and follow the path until we reach the Obersee. We follow the path along its shore, which becomes somewhat uneven, mainly due to tree roots.. which we take and turn right towards Röthbachfall. The path leads us slightly uphill and unprotected by the sun. We then descend a little across a meadow until we reach the foothills.
